Classification of diamond tools-diamond saw blade

 

Diamond saw blade is a kind of cutting tool, widely used in stone, ceramics and other hard and brittle materials processing. Diamond saw blade is mainly composed of two parts; Matrix and cutter. Manufacturing process classification:

 

1, sintered diamond saw blade: cold pressing sintering and hot pressing sintering two, pressing sintering.

 

2, Welding diamond saw blade: there are two kinds of high-frequency welding and laser welding, high-frequency welding through high temperature melting medium welding tool head and matrix together, laser welding through high temperature laser beam melting tool head and matrix contact edge to form metallurgical combination.

 

3. Electroplating diamond saw blade: The tool head powder is attached to the substrate by electroplating method.

 

Classification of appearance:

 

1. Continuous edge saw blade: continuous serrate diamond saw blade is generally made by sintering method, and bronze binder is commonly used as the base substrate. Water must be added when cutting to ensure the cutting effect, and laser will be used to cut the types of gaps.

 

2, tool head type saw blade: serrated break, cutting speed is fast, suitable for dry and wet two cutting methods.

 

3. Turbine saw blade: Combined with the advantages of 1 and 2, the serrated blade continuously presents turbine shape uniform convex and concave, which improves the cutting speed and increases the service life.

 

4. Saw blade wire speed:

 

In practice, the linear velocity of diamond circular saw blade is limited by the equipment conditions, the quality of saw blade and the nature of the cutter. In terms of the best service life and cutting efficiency of saw blade, the linear speed of saw blade should be selected according to the properties of different stones. When sawing granite, the blade speed can be selected in the range of 25m~35m/s. For granite with high quartz content and difficult to cut, it is appropriate to lower the limit of saw blade speed. In the production of granite tiles, the diamond circular saw blade is small in diameter and the linear velocity can reach 35m/s.
